Bruins in the NFL: Week 9

Eighteen Bruins were in action during Week 9 of the 2025 NFL regular season, which saw Denver's Marcedes Lewis make history. The 41-year old Lewis, who played for UCLA from 2002-05 and was inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022, became the oldest tight end to see action in an NFL game. He also became the 23rd player in league history to play 20 seasons. Brittain Brown contributed to Chicago's win one day after coming off the team's practice squad, while Laiatu Latu had a career game for Indianapolis.
โข Brittain Brown, RB, Chicago Bears โ Brown, who was elevated from the Bears' practice squad one day prior, made the most of his first career offensive snaps. He finished with five carries for 37 yards, including a 22-yard burst for a touchdown in the third quarter. The scoring run gave visiting Chicago a 31-27 lead. The Bears would go on to beat Cincinnati 47-42. Brown also returned one kickoff for 23 yards.
