Women’s Rowing Heads South for San Diego Crew Classic

LOS ANGELES – The Bruins head south to compete in the San Diego Crew Classic from Saturday, March 29, to Sunday, March 30.
UCLA women's rowing will field a seven shell fleet this weekend; Saturday's races will be qualifiers for Sunday's Grand Finals and Petite Finals.
"We're thrilled to be back at the San Diego Crew Classic," said interim head coach Anna Thomson, "it's been a few years since UCLA has raced at this event, and it means a lot to line up against some of the strongest crews in the country. Our team has been training with focus and intensity, and we've made great progress since our season opener three weeks ago. We have made the most of our spring break training, the energy is high and we are ready to race and continue building momentum."
If a race has two heats, places 1-4 advance to Sunday's Grand Final. All others will compete in the Petite Final.

PARKING INFORMATION
Free parking is available at Crown Point Shores–with the exception of the Northern (YELLOW) Lot–on a first come, first serve basis. Please be mindful of regatta operations setups in the parking lots when parking your vehicle and do not block equipment or machinery. Disabled parking spaces are marked and available first come, first serve. Park only in designated areas. Cars parked in no parking areas, including red curbs and fire lanes, may be ticketed or towed.
Additional free public parking is available south of the venue on Ingraham St. on Vacation Isle at Ski Beach. Please observe municipally posted signs in the lots at Ski Beach which define lots that are available to passenger cars. Failure to observe municipal signs may result in a citation from SDPD parking enforcement.
