UCLA to Host NCAA Regional as No. 15 National Seed

LOS ANGELES โ The No. 13-ranked UCLA baseball team was selected as the No. 15 national seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and will host a regional at Jackie Robinson Stadium for the first time since 2019.

UCLA (42-16, 22-8 Big Ten) earned its 26th NCAA Tournament berth and 14th under Head Coach John Savage. The Bruins return to the postseason for the 15th time in the last 21 seasons, with Savage leading them to tournament appearances in 14 of his 20 years at the helm (excluding 2020).

The Bruins' opening game of the regional will be on Friday, May 30, at 1 p.m. PT against Fresno State, the Mountain West Tournament Champions, and will be broadcast on ESPN+. All games for the NCAA Tournament will be available for viewing on the ESPN Family of Networks.

In 13 trips to the postseason at UCLA, Savage has compiled a 46-27 record (.630 winning percentage), recording the most postseason victories of any head coach in program history. With Savage at the program's helm, UCLA advanced to the College World Series in 2010, 2012, and 2013, and reached the best-of-three championship series in 2010 and 2013. UCLA defeated Mississippi State, two games to none, at the 2013 College World Series.
