Five Bruins Earn All-America Acclaim for 2025 Season

LOS ANGELESย โ Fiveย Bruinsย received postseason honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC), as announced by the association today.
The awards were highlighted by First-Team All-America honoree Anna Pearson (Irvine, Calif./Orange Lutheran HS). Pearson, a junior utility, earned All-America acclaim for the third time in her career after being named to the First Team in 2024 and chosen as an Honorable Mention selection in 2023.
Two Bruins earned Second-Team All-American plaudits. Sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Steele (Old Greenwich, Conn./Orange Lutheran HS) earned the title for the second straight year, after being on the First Team last year, and redshirt junior attacker Emma Linebackย (Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach HS) earned her second All-America award after picking up Honorable Mention accolades in 2023.
Junior utility Genoa Rossi (Laguna Beach, Calif./Mater Dei HS) and junior center Bia Mantellato (São Paulo, Brazil/Newport Harbor HS/Hawai'i) both earned Honorable Mention All-America honors. It marked the first time Rossi has earned All-America acclaim and the third time for Mantellato, after she earned First-Team honors in 2024 and Second-Team accolades in 2023, both while at Hawai'i.
UCLA won a share of the MPSF 2025 regular season title and finished with an overall record of 20-6. The Bruins finished second at the MPSF Championship and tied for third in the NCAA Championship in 2025.ย UCLA Head Coachย Adam Wrightย was named the 2025 MPSF Coach of the Year, the second-straight year he has won the award.
