Bilić Prepares for U18 Women’s EuroBasket, Division B with Croatia

LOS ANGELES – Incoming freshman Lena Bilic joins Croatia's junior national team for the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, Division B tournament in Vilnius, Lithuania, from July 4-13.
Bilic won bronze with Croatia at the 2022 FIBA U16 Women's European Championship; the guard has averaged 15.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in 28 appearances with the Croatia junior national team. The 6-foot-3 Croatian averaged 16.1 points and 5.6 assists at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket and looks to make significant contributions in the 2025 tournament.
Croatia is in Group D with Bulgaria, Denmark, Great Britain and Norway. A total of 21 nations will compete for the Division B title and promotion to next year's FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket. They have been split into three groups of five and one with six.
All games will be broadcast live to the FIBA Basketball YouTube channel.
The Group Phase will take place across the opening four days of the tournament before a rest day on July 10. Teams are seeded for the quarterfinal stage based on their group position. The tournament will continue until the Final on July 13, with Classification Games also determining each of the 21 positions.
The top three teams will be promoted to next summer's FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket tournament.
