UCLA Announces 2025 Men's Water Polo Schedule

LOS ANGELES โ Theย UCLAย Men'sย Water Polo team announced its 2025ย schedule today, highlighted byย conference home games against all three MPSF rivals USC (Oct. 18), Stanford (Nov. 1), and California (Nov. 2). The Bruins will also face those same teams in league road games, visiting California on Oct. 4, Stanford on Oct. 5, and USC on Nov. 15.
The Bruins will open the season with Navy on Aug. 29 at Coronado (Calif) High School. UCLA will compete in threeย regular-seasonย tournaments during the year, beginning with the Triton Invitational where it will face UC Davis (Aug. 30) and UC San Diego (Aug. 30). The following week, the Bruins will travel to New York to face Pro Recco in an exhibition game at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side Campus (Sept. 3). From there, UCLA will compete at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J., for four games, opening with California Baptist University (Sept. 5). UCLA will also take on George Washington (Sept. 5), Fordham (Sept. 6), and Bucknell (Sept. 6).
UCLA will host UC Irvine in its home opener on Sept. 12 at Dirks Pool at Spieker Aquatics Center. The Bruins will also face Harvard after the contest with the Anteaters. The following day, UCLA will host Pepperdine in the third game of a seven-game home stand. The last four games of that stretch include four contests at the MPSF Invitational (Sept. 19-21, teams to be announced at a later date).
The Bruins hit the road on Sept. 27 for a crosstown showdown at LMU followed by a MPSF-opening road game at California (Oct. 4). UCLA will conclude its trip to the Bay Area at Stanford on Oct. 5.
Following the Stanford tilt, UCLA returns to campus for a five-game home stretch that begins with Princeton on Oct. 11. That is followed by a span of three tough league games against USC (Oct. 18), Stanford (Nov. 1), and California (Nov. 2). Pacific visits Westwood, Calif., on "Senior Day" (Nov. 7) to conclude the home slate. The Bruins will conclude the regular season with a crosstown splashdown at USC (Nov. 15).
Stanford will host the 11-team 2025ย MPSF Championshipย on Nov. 21-23, which has expanded from eight teams a year ago. Then the Bruins, the defending NCAA Champions, will return to Stanford to defend their title at theย 2025ย NCAA Championship (Dec. 5-7).
