EL PASO, Texas โย No. 24 UCLA women's volleyball remained perfect at the Sun City Classic by earning a straight-set victory over Oral Roberts on Friday afternoon inside Memorial Gym.

The Bruins (3-3) have strung together six straight set wins across back-to-back sweeps. UCLA's defense was dominant, racking up 12 total blocks while holding Oral Roberts (0-7) to a team hitting percentage of .042. UCLA applied heavy pressure at the service line with eight aces.

Carly Hendrickson shined in the win with a game-high nine kills at a .412 clip while dealing a career-best four service aces. She was extremely effective on the defensive end with six blocks to tally 16 total points in the contest.

Marianna Singletary contributed six kills (.417) with an impressive seven blocks while Cheridyn Leverette collected seven kills.

In the early stages of the first frame, Hendrickson and Singletary teamed up for a pair of blocks, helping the Bruins jump to a 5-1 lead. Hendrickson added two aces and back-to-back kills to spark a 3-0 run that forced an Oral Roberts timeout at 15-10. The momentum continued with kills from Urzua, Briscoe, and Leverette, plus a solo block from Duffey. UCLA totaled five blocks in the set, with Hendrickson leading the charge with four kills (.500), two blocks, and two service aces, guiding the Bruins to a 25-16 win.
