LOS ANGELES – The UCLA Athletics Department has won a pair of 2026 NIL Store Awards, recognizing the “Best School Activation” with the women’s basketball program’s dance activation and the “NIL Admin of the Year” award going to Teri Hanneke.
Spearheaded by Charlisse Leger-Walker, the three members of the UCLA women’s basketball program joined the UCLA dance team for a routine during the final home men’s basketball game on March 3. The women’s basketball dance routine with Leger-Walker, Lauren Betts and Gabriela Jaquez went viral on social media. The NIL Store Awards recognizes the best school activation, honoring a school, team or program that executed an impactful and unique NIL activation.
Hanneke serves as UCLA’s senior associate athletic director for NIL operations and CAP management. She oversees name, image and likeness (NIL) strategy and roster management issues, working closely with the athletic compliance office, collective partners and financial cap systems.
