Bruins among NCAA men's golf teams recognized with annual Platform Golf Team Academic Awards.

NORMAN, Okla. – The UCLA men’s golf team has been recognized as an All-Academic Team in the annual Platform Golf Team Academic Awards from the 2025-26 school year, as announced Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

The Bruins have been honored in the awards “All-Academic Team” category at the NCAA Division I level for having compiled a team grade-point average above 3.0. This marks the second consecutive season in which UCLA was honored as an All-Academic Team in the annual Platform Golf Team Academic Awards.

Bruins’ rising senior Alex Papayoanou was honored on Monday as a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar for the first time in his career. At the conclusion of the 2025-26 academic year, Bruins’ senior Matthew Yamin was recognized on UCLA’s All-Academic Team as the men’s golf student-athlete with the highest cumulative team grade-point average.
