Bruins in the NFL: Week 18

A total of 25 former UCLA football standouts were in action this past weekend as the 2025 NFL regular season came to a close. Standout performances came courtesy of RB Zach Charbonnet (Seattle Seahawks), who turned in his dozenth rushing touchdown of the season, and K Ka'imi Fairbairn (Houston Texans), who hit six field goals, including the game-winner with 12 seconds remaining, as part of a historic performance that clinched a playoff berth for his team.

• Krys Barnes, LB, Carolina Panthers – The sixth-year pro started and made six tackles in a 16-14 road loss at Tampa Bay. The six stops were his second most this season, and he also chipped in his first tackle for loss (TFL) of the campaign.
Next up: NFC Wild Card vs. Los Angeles Rams – Saturday, Jan. 10, 1:30 p.m. PT (FOX)

• Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks – Rushed 17 times for 74 yards and a touchdown. He added three catches for 23 yards, finishing with 97 yards of total offense. Charbonnet opened the scoring and provided what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown with a 27-yard run in the first quarter. He finished his third NFL season with career highs in rushing (730 yds) and rushing touchdowns (12). His dozen rushing scores were sixth-most in the NFL during the regular season, and he is the first Seahawk back with double-digit rushing touchdowns in a single season since Marshawn Lynch (13) in 2014. Sunday's victory finished off a 14-3 regular season for Seattle, which clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC and earned a first-round bye.
Next up: NFC Divisional Round vs. TBD

• Kenny Clark, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Clark started and made one tackle in a 34-17 loss to the New York Giants at the Meadowlands. In his debut season with Dallas after a nine-year stint in Green Bay, Clark posted 36 tackles and 3.0 sacks.

• Greg Dulcich, TE, Miami Dolphins – Caught a co-team-high three passes for 31 yards in a road loss at New England. Though he broke a four-game streak with 40+ receiving yards, Dulcich recorded multiple receptions in his seventh straight game and had 30+ receiving yards in his fifth straight contest. Dulcich's 26 receptions and 335 receiving yards were both the second most in his four-year pro career.

• Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Fairbairn had one of the most memorable performances of his illustrious career, going a perfect six-for-six on field goals to help Houston clinch a playoff berth with a 38-30 win over Houston. Fairbairn hit the go-ahead and game-winning field goal, from 43 yards out, with just 12 seconds remaining in regulation. His six made field goals were a single-game career high and tied the Texans' single-game franchise record. It also gave him 44 field goal makes on the year, tying an NFL single-season record. Despite missing a game this year, he still had three more makes than the No. 2 field goal kicker this year, Seattle's Jason Myers (41). For the regular season, he went 44-for-48 (92%) on field goals, including a 35-for-35 mark within 50 yards, and nailed all 28 of his PAT attempts.
