LOS ANGELES – No. 2-ranked UCLA improves to 25-1 (15-0 B1G) with a 44-point victory over Indiana (14-13, 3-12 B1G) on Sunday.

Graduate guard Charlisse Leger-Walker and senior Lauren Betts led the way in the first half. Leger-Walker had 12 points, matching Indiana's second quarter scoring output with 10 apiece. The center also collected a first half double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and a block at the break.

UCLA had a season-low four turnovers in the victory; the Bruins corralled 51 rebounds against Indiana, the most against a Big Ten opponent this season.

Senior Kiki Rice came alive in the second half, scoring 15 of her game-high 17 points in the final 20 minutes (6-8 FG, 2-4 3FG). The Bruin point guard finished with nine rebounds, two assists and zero turnovers in UCLA's 44-point win.

The Bruins had seven players in double-digit scoring – all five starters and two Bruins off the bench got into double figures. Rice led the way with 17 and was joined by Lauren Betts (16), Leger-Walker (12), Gianna Kneepkens (12), Gabriela Jaquez (11), Sienna Betts (10) and Lena Bilić (10).

Lauren Betts won the tip and the ball quickly made its way into Kneepkens's hands. She swished a pull-up jumper from the middle of the paint on UCLA's first possession. Jaquez missed a 3-pointer but tracked down the long rebound on the Bruins' next trip down the floor; that turned into a bucket for Lauren Betts after a Hoosier foul gave UCLA the chance to set up an inbounds play. Leger-Walker missed a jumper after getting into the paint, but the center corralled the offensive board and connected on the put-back attempt. Dugalić got on the scoreboard with a step-through layup as the shot clock wound down. The graduate wing then forced an Indiana turnover; the Bruins were up 8-4 at the first media break.

Out of the media timeout, Leger-Walker sunk a contested jumper over her Hoosier defender. Dugalić got an offensive rebound off a Sienna Betts missed jump shot and waited patiently to attack the rim again, finishing with a smooth reverse layup. Rice practiced an offensive rebounding drill, boarding two of her misses to get a make at the cup.

Lauren Betts was fouled shortly after, going 1-for-2 at the line; Rice's final 3-point attempt of the quarter was halfway down before rattling out. The Bruins led 17-10 at the first break.

Leger-Walker came off a screen and took a pound dribble to stop at the free throw line, making her step-back 2-pointer to start UCLA's scoring in the second. The Bruins then got a successful appeal at 8:31 on the clock. Leger-Walker finished at the rim and drew a shooting foul but could not finish the and-one opportunity after the Bruins earned an extra possession on the challenge. Jaquez decided it was time for a five-point run, making a 3-pointer then layup after cutting through an open lane. Lauren Betts assisted on the cut. Indiana needed time; the Bruins opened the second on a 9-0 run.

Kneepkens got her first 3-point make in the corner, pushing UCLA's lead to 17 with four minutes off the clock in the second. Lauren Betts cleaned up a pair of misses – one from Jaquez and one from herself – and got an and-one to drop. UCLA pushed the pace and got a quick 3-pointer to go from Leger-Walker. Lauren Betts sunk two free throws on the next trip down. The Bruins kept pouring it on, with Lena Bilić scoring five-straight points. The freshman first used an Amanda Muse screen to get a 3-pointer, then made her way inside the arc for a pull-up jumper; she pump-faked her defender for an easy 15-footer.

Leger-Walker finished the second quarter with a 3-pointer before the shot clock expired; she had the same amount of points as Indiana (10) in 2Q. Lauren Betts rejected the Hoosiers on their final shot of the half; UCLA was up 47-20 at the mid-point intermission.

Kneepkens got things started in the third with fadeaway jumper plus the harm, converting the and-one make. Lauren Betts quickly added two with a layup. Jaquez was then fouled driving to the lane and made both of her freebies. Sienna Betts unleashed a half-spin to get to the rim through contact; she missed the and-one opportunity but older sister Lauren tracked down the offensive board. The center kicked it to Bilić who sunk a 3-pointer in rhythm on the left wing. Rice kept the scoring going with a scoop layup. Dugalić threw a no-look pass to Sienna Betts who finished the layup. Rice got another look and connected on jumper in the mid-range before getting an and-one to go. Sienna Betts stayed active, drawing a foul and making good on two free throws. Rice let the shot clock run down before attacking a Sienna Betts screen; the point guard got to the right elbow and splashed her fourth make of the quarter (4-4 FG in 3Q).

UCLA took a 42-point lead into the final frame, 76-34.

Jaquez opened the fourth with some paint work, making a fadeaway on the block. Lauren Betts stayed active on the offensive boards, cleaning up a Bruin miss for her 16^th points of the game. Dugalić swatted a Hoosier layup attempt on the next Indiana possession. Kiki stayed hot with her first of two 3-pointers; Jaquez got two free throws to get her to 11 points, making her the fifth and final starter in double-digit scoring. Rice made another 3-pointer before the media timeout.

Bilić used a screen from Sienna Betts to find her way to the free throw line for a jumper, sinking it for her fourth make in as many attempts. Sienna Betts played hot potato with Jaquez before settling on the block; the freshman power forward used a fadeaway to become the seventh player in double figures on Sunday.
