UCLA Seeded No. 3 in NCAA Beach Volleyball Tournament

UCLA (30-6) has been selected the No. 3 seed at the 2026 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship, which will take place in Gulf Shores, Ala. May 1-3.
The Bruins will face No. 14 seed Tulane (26-13) in the first round on Friday, May 1 at 3pm CT/1pm PT. This will be the fifth meeting between the Bruins and the Green Wave and first since 2022. UCLA is 4-0 all-time against Tulane. The winner of the UCLA/Tulane match will face No. 6 seed Cal Poly (30-8) or No. 11 seed Grand Canyon (19-15).
This is UCLA's 10th NCAA appearance in the 10 years of the Championship. The Bruins are 28-12 (.700) all-time in NCAA Tournament play and finished third a year ago. UCLA has won two national championships, winning in back-to-back years in 2018 and 2019. The Bruins also have three runner-up finishes. Tulane is making its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
The championship bracket consists of 16 teams, including eight automatic qualifiers. The championship will be played in single-elimination five-pair duals.ย
