GREENWOOD, Ind. – A UCLA women's tennis trio was named Tuesday to the Academic All-District® Team for 2025-26, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced. Olivia Center, Ahmani Guichard and Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer were lauded, with Lutkemeyer also earning a spot on the ballot for Academic All-America® consideration.
A nominee must be at least a sophomore, academically and athletically, with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better. Graduate student-athletes are required to meet the 3.50 threshold as undergraduate and graduate students. CSC will publish its Academic All-America® list on Tuesday, June 2.
Lutkemeyer has already twice been named an Academic All-America®, earning third-team accolades in 2025 and 2024. The senior's on-court résumé has grown in 2025-26, with her selection as a Hurd Award finalist headlining the list of accomplishments. Lutkemeyer was also a unanimous pick to the All-Big Ten First Team and was selected one of the conference's Sportsmanship Honorees. She logged a 13-7 singles record that included a 9-5 mark against nationally-ranked played, climbing herself to No. 11 on the ITA's list. Lutkemeyer also finished with a 12-6 doubles record.
Center clinched a team-high six wins, with the final one being a 4-3 victory against San Diego State in the NCAA Championship opening round (May 1). The sophomore beat Vesa Gjinaj in three sets to cap a Bruin comeback. Center finished with a 15-8 singles mark (14-7 in dual matches) and a 12-7 doubles showing. The doubles partnership of Center/Kate Fakih, which currently sits at No. 24 in the ITA rankings, knocked off five nationally-ranked pairs.
Guichard notched a thrilling postseason singles win of her own, delivering the deciding point in a 4-3 road triumph over No. 16 seed Arizona State in the NCAA Championship second round (May 2). She outlasted Zlata Bartanusz in three sets. Guichard finished with an 18-9 singles record, going 12-6 in dual play. She also turned in a 13-10 doubles mark. Guichard took down a pair of nationally-ranked singles players and two more doubles tandems (with partners Fakih and Kayla Chung).
