UCLA Announces 2026 Men's Soccer Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer program on Wednesday officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. UCLA, who are the reigning Big Ten Tournament Champions, will open the season with a home exhibition against UC Riverside (Aug. 7), before starting the regular season with a match at Virginia on August 20.
UCLA's 2026 schedule features 13 home matches, including three home exhibition matches, and seven road matches. Seven teams on the Bruins' schedule made the NCAA Tournament in 2025, including the NCAA Champions Washington, who the Bruins host to close out the regular season on November 4.
The Bruins' regular-season home opener against CSU Bakersfield is set for Sunday, August 24. The Bruins' first match against Big Ten competition will be on Friday, September 11, when UCLA plays at Rutgers.
In addition to the season-opener at Virginia and the home-opener against CSU Bakersfield, other non-league matches include Denver (Aug. 28), at Cal (Sept. 1), Omaha (Sept. 6), Westmont (Oct. 6), and San Diego (Oct. 25).
UCLA, entering its third year in the Big Ten Conference, will play 10 league matches, five at home and five on the road. UCLA will take on Michigan (Sept. 18), Michigan State (Oct. 3), Ohio State (Oct. 10) Indiana (Oct. 30) and Washington (Nov. 4) at home. The Bruins will play Rutgers (Sept. 11), Maryland (Sept. 25), Penn State (Sept. 28), Wisconsin (Oct. 16), and Northwestern (Oct. 19) on the road.
The Bruins are coming off their second season in the Big Ten, where UCLA went 8-6-5, won the Big Ten Tournament title, and made the NCAA Tournament for the fifth year in a row under head coach Ryan Jorden.
