BROOKLYN – UCLA senior Tyler Bilodeau was chosen No. 43 overall by the Brooklyn Nets as a second-round selection in the 2026 NBA Draft at Barclays Center on Wednesday evening.
Bilodeau, a 6-foot-9 forward from Kennewick, Wash., averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game through 128 collegiate contests. He spent his first two seasons at Oregon State, in Corvallis, Ore., before excelling in his final two seasons at UCLA. In two years with the Bruins, he averaged 15.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game through 64 contests.
Bilodeau led UCLA in scoring in 2024-25 and 2025-26. He averaged a team-best 17.6 points per game and finished second on the team in rebounding (5.6 rpg) in 2025-26. Bilodeau secured third-team All-Big Ten Conference acclaim in each of his final two seasons (2024-25 and 2025-26). He ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten in 3-point shooting percentage as a senior, knocking down 46.4 percent of his 3-point attempts.
Through four college seasons, Bilodeau logged shooting percentages of 50.6 percent overall, 40.0 percent from 3-point range and 80.7 percent at the free throw line.
"We're all so thrilled for Tyler to get drafted by Brooklyn," said Mick Cronin, The Michael Price Family UCLA Men's Head Basketball Coach. "He is a tremendous young man and a tireless worker who really excelled in our program. He's come a long way since his days at Kamiakin High School, and it's simply a testament to the work ethic that Tyler and his family have embodied. He's a versatile player who really improved his 3-point stroke during his two years in Westwood. I can't wait to see him take that next step with Brooklyn. All of us at UCLA are so proud of him."
Since 1947, UCLA's program has produced 127 NBA Draft selections. Since 1989 when the draft moved to a two-round format, UCLA has produced 49 overall draft selections, including Bilodeau. With Bilodeau's selection on Wednesday, UCLA has had at least one NBA Draft pick in four of the past five seasons.
Looking through his time at Oregon State and UCLA, Bilodeau scored at least 10 points in 87 career games and had at least 20 points in 20 career contests. He finished is collegiate career with five double-doubles. Bilodeau totaled a career-high 34 points in a Bruins' win over UC Riverside on Dec. 23, 2025, knocking down 12 of 19 shots and going 4-for-7 from 3-point range. He registered a career-best 15 rebounds against New Mexico in his second game of the year during his junior season (Nov. 8, 2024).
