Team Notes
**The Bruins’ opening scoring drive went 99 yards. It was the first 99-yard scoring drive for UCLA since Oct. 2, 2010 (home vs. Washington State).
**The 49 unanswered points for the Bruins over the last two games (last 35 vs. Texas A&M and first 14 vs. Hawai’i) were the most since 2015 when UCLA scored 51 in a row across three games (Oct. 31, Nov. 7, Nov. 14).
**The 56 points equaled the most since Sept. 26, 2015 at Arizona. It was the most points in a home game since Sept. 21, 2013 against New Mexico State (59).
**The Bruins improved to 3-0 all-time against Hawai’i. The most recent meeting came in 1938.
**UCLA has won 18 of its last 21 non-conference matchups and 16 of 17 regular-season, non-conference games under head coach Jim Mora.
**The Bruins are 37-3 under Mora when ahead at the half.
**With the exception of the final play of the first half, the Bruins scored touchdowns in each of their first seven offensive drives.
Player Notes
**Junior Josh Rosen is the first Bruin quarterback to throw for at least 300 yards in back-to-back games to open a season since Cade McNown (1998).
**Rosen’s 12th, 300-yard game breaks the school record with McNown, who had 11.
**Rosen’s five touchdown passes, a career high after throwing a personal-best four last week against Texas A&M, are the most since Ben Olson threw five against Stanford on Sept. 1, 2007.
**Rosen moved up to fifth in UCLA history in career passing yards (6,403) and total offense (6,316). He is also tied for fifth in touchdown passes with 42 (Cory Paus).
**Redshirt senior Darren Andrews is the first Bruin receiver to haul in three touchdown catches in a game since Marcedes Lewis (Oct. 9, 2004).
**Sophomore wide receiver Theo Howard had career highs in receptions (seven) and receiving yards (110), with his 26-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter being his longest-ever reception.
**Freshman defensive back Darnay Holmes’ interception return for a touchdown in the second quarter was UCLA’s 13th defensive score since 2012.
**Howard and redshirt sophomore tight end Caleb Wilson each caught passes for the fifth game in a row.
