Aliotti Leaving UCLA Football Staff

Quote from UCLA Head Coach Bob Toledo on the hiring of defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti by the University of Oregon:
"I certainly want to wish Nick and his family the best of luck. Nick is a good football coach and a good
person. I'm sorry that things didn't work out for Nick here at UCLA. He had to deal with a young,
inexperienced defensive unit. Nick is returning to Oregon where he has spent the majority of his coaching
career and has enjoyed great success."
STAFF ASSIGNMENTS
New defensive assistant John Pearce will coach the defensive ends. Assistant head coach Bob Field will
shift from defensive ends to the secondary. Toledo will select a defensive coordinator from the exisiting
staff in the near future.
