Two Bruins Added to World University Games Team

Bruin track and field stars Mark Hauser and Scott Slover were added to the United States' World University Games team, bringing UCLA's total to 21 participants.
Hauser, a cross-country and track and field All-American, will compete in the 1500m, where he has a personal best of 3:39.92
Slover, a two-time Pac-10 pole vault champion, will compete in his specialty. Slover recently placed fifth at the USA Championships.
The 1999 World University Games will take place July 1-13 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Following is the updated list of Bruins on the USA rosters:
