Women's Golfers Tied for Third After First Round at Pac-10 Tourney

UCLA is tied for third place after the first round in the 2000 Pacific-10 Women's Golf Tournament at the Eugene Country Club in Oregon.
The Bruins 301 team score trails first place USC by nine shots, but they are two shots behind second place Arizona, which posted a team score of 299. The Bruins are tied with California.
Individually, senior Amanda Moltke-Leth fired a two-under par 70 and leads USC's Candie Kung, Arizona's Jill Gomric and Oregon's Anika Heuser by one shot. Two USC players are tied for fifth at even par 72.
The Bruins Alicia Um is tied for eighth place after posting a 74 and Leilani Bagby is tied for 10th at 75.
Junior Laura Moffat shot a first round 82 and is tied for 48th, and freshman Jamie Kim posted an 85 and is 59th.
Second and third round action continues Tuesday and Wednesday.
