Box Score
Ojai, Calif. - UCLA freshman tennis player Sara Walker turned in one of the most dominating performances ever at the Pac-10 Championships Sunday, downing Arizona State's Allison Bradshaw 6-1, 6-1 to claim the conference singles title.
En route to the championship, Walker did not drop a set in five matches. She becomes the first UCLA player to win the singles championship at Ojai since teammate Annica Cooper won the title as a sophomore back in 1998.
Ranked No. 7 in the latest ITA singles rankings, Walker will be one of the favorites to take home the NCAA singles title in Malibu this May.
Also in action Sunday was Bruin senior Elizabeth Schmidt, who fell in the finals of the Pac-10 Invitational draw to Stanford's Jennifer Heiser.
