Women's Golf 14th In West Regionals

The 14th ranked UCLA women's golf team is in 14th place heading into the final round of the NCAA West Regionals at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ.
The Bruins improved their score by 10 shots Friday and have a 36-hole total of 605, six shots behind 10th place Oregon and Nebraska. The top 11 finishers after 54 holes qualify for the NCAA Championships in two weeks at River Bend in Oregon.
Top-ranked Arizona leads the field by nine shots over San Jose State which is second at 289. USC, which vaulted from 15th place to third, fired the day's low round, a three-under par team score of 285.Stanford is fourth at 594, followed by fifth place Pepperdine at 595.
UCLA senior Amanda Moltke-Leth fired a 73 Friday and had a two-round total of 145, one over par. Junior Laura Moffat, sophomore Alicia Um and freshman Vivan Phosomran each posted scores of 74 and junior Leilani Bagby recorded a 79.
