Men's Golf Tied For 11th Entering Final Round

The UCLA men's golf team was tied for 11th place after two rounds in the NCAA West Regionals, hosted by Fresno State at Riverbend Golf Course.
The Bruins posted a one-over par team score of 289 Friday for a two-round total of 576. They trail first place BYU, which has a 36-hole total of 557. Arizona was second at 558, followed by Fresno State and USC at 560. The Bruins are two shots behind ninth place California and Idaho and lead 14th place UOP by three. The top nine finishers after 54 holes advance to the NCAA Championships in two weeks at Auburn.
Individually, sophomore Parker McLachlin was still tied for first place. He fired a two-under par 70 for a 36-hole total of 137, five-under par. Senior Brandon DiTullio was tied for 10th at 139 after posting a score of 70. Freshman Travis Johnson posted a score of 73 and is tied for 63rd at 147. Senior Jason Semelsberger and junior Steve Wagner were tied for 104th at 153.
