Bruin Baseball Selected No. 1 Seed At Oklahoma City NCAA Regional

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The UCLA baseball team has been selected to participate in the NCAA Regionals and is the No. 1 seed at the Oklahoma City Regional at the Bricktown Ball Park held Friday, May 26 through Sunday May 28.

The top-seed Bruins (35-24) will face fourth-seed Delaware (37-18) in their first game of the regional Friday at 3 p.m. Central Time, while second seed and host Oklahoma (39-21) will face third seed Oral Roberts (48-13) at 7 p.m. Central Time. Should the Bruins win their first game, they will face the winner of the Oral Roberts/Oklahoma game and should they lose, the Bruins would play the losers Saturday.

The Co-Pac-10 Champion Bruins will make their second straight NCAA playoff appearance and fourth in the last five years. UCLA has appeared in 10 NCAA playoffs (1969, 1979, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1999) and two College World Series (1969 and 1997).
