No. 3 Cal State Northridge Eliminates No. 2 Fresno State, 3-1

Los Angeles - Powered by home runs from Christen Bedwell and Summer Richardson, No. 3 Cal State Northridge came from behind to knock off No. 2 Fresno State, 3-1 Friday in an elimination game at the NCAA Softball Regionals at UCLA.s Easton Stadium.
With the victory, Cal State Northridge improves to 32-23 on the season and moves on to face top-seeded UCLA in an afternoon game at Easton Stadium. With the loss, Fresno State, which lost to No. 5 Wisconsin on Thursday, is eliminated from the NCAA Regional. The Bulldogs finish their season with a 39-19 overall record.
Along with Bedwell and Richardson, Northridge pitcher Sarah Farnworth also enjoyed a solid game Friday, giving up just one run in seven full innings of work. She also was 2-for-3 at the plate.
