Lin and Lumpkin Into Semifinals at Ojai

Ojai, Calif. -Bruin freshmen women's tennis players Tracy Lin and Elizabeth Lumpkin won two doubles matches Friday to advance to the semifinals in the Pac-10 Invitational Draw at the 2005 Pac-10 Championships.
Lin and Lumpkin began the day by defeating USC's Erin Everly/Taylynn Snyder, 8-1 in the first round. They downed Washington's Monika Kolbovic/Tara Simpson, 8-5 in the quarterfinals. Awaiting them in the semifinals is Arizona's Kasia Jakowlew/Kelly Perry.
The only other Bruin doubles team in action Friday was the duo of Laura Gordon and Alex McGoodwin, who lost a first-round match to Washington's Dinka Hadzic/Dea Sumantri.
