Steve Klosterman Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior opposite Steve Klosterman (Long Beach, CA/Marina HS) of the UCLA Men's Volleyball team was selected as the UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week (May 1-7).

Klosterman was selected the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament after leading UCLA to its 19th NCAA Volleyball title with 3-0 wins over IPFW in the semifinals and host Penn State in the finals. Klosterman was Mr. Consistent for the Bruins, recording 14 kills (match-highs), an attack percentage of .379, and seven digs in both matches. The Bruins closed the season by winning 14 consecutive matches and won their first NCAA title since 2000.

This is Klosterman's second UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
