UCLA's Leopoldo, Nakazawa Honored

UCLA soccer players Jason Leopoldo and Kyle Nakazawa were honored this week after standout performances. Leopoldo was selected the Pac-10 Player of the Week and named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week after recording a goal and two assists in a weekend sweep at Oregon State and Washington. Nakazawa was selected to Soccer America's Team of the Week after scoring the game-winner off an assist from Leopoldo with less than a minute to play at Washington. Nakazawa also had an assist on an earlier goal that put the Bruins ahead, 2-1.
The two victories last weekend propelled the Bruins into first place in the Pac-10 standings. UCLA is 3-0-1 in its last four games with the Beavers and Huskies coming to Westwood this weekend for rematches.
