Women's 4x800m Relay Places 4th at Texas Relays

The 4x800m relay team of Ashley Caldwell, Lauren Jirges, Allie Bohannon and Allison Hall finished fourth in a time of 8:52.10 at the Texas Relays in Austin on Thursday.
Caldwell led the team off with a 2:10.1 800m run (a season-best run for the senior), while Jirges ran the second leg in 2:16.3. Bohannon ran 2:11.2 on the third leg, while Hall anchored the final 800m in a time of 2:14.5.
On Friday, competition continues for the Bruins at the Texas Relays as Renee Williams (long/triple jump), Megan Jamerson (pole vault), Jacqueline Nguyen (pole vault), Rhonda Watkins (long jump) and Keneisha Creary (high jump) are scheduled to compete. The Bruins will also run a team in the sprint medley relay.
