Mayorkas and Park Survive the Cut at U.S. Women's Open

Professionals Charlotte Mayorkas and Jane Park survived the 36-hole cut Saturday at the 62nd U.S. Women's Open at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC.
Mayorkas posted rounds of 70-73--143 (+1) and began the third round in a tie for 11th place. Park began the third round in a tie for 59th after rounds of 73-75--148 (+6), one shot below the cut line.
Due to weather delays in the first two rounds, the third and fourth rounds will be completed on Sunday.
Through 15 holes in the third round Saturday, Mayorkas was seven-over par, eight-over for the tournament. Park also was eight-over for the tournament through 10 holes, two-over on the day. Both players were tied for 54th place.
Guilia Sergas (74-76--150, +8), Amie Cochran (74-77--151, +9), Maria Jose Uribe (78-74--152, +10), Mo Martin (77-77--154, +12) and Sydney Michaels (78-78--156, +12) all missed the 36-hole cut, which was 149, seven-over par.
