Chris Bencomo and Kyle Shackleton led a group of five track and field athletes who were named to Pac-10's All-Academic teams on Monday. Both were named to the first team as Bencomo carries a 3.66 gpa while majoring in anthropology and Shackleton holds a 3.79 gpa in Business/Economics.
Alex Pearlstone, Austin Ramos and Tracy Session were named to the Pac-10 Honorable Mention team.
The Bruins are currently in Sacramento preparing for the NCAA Championships which begin on Wednesday.
