For the first time since 1976, the men's track and field team will host Oregon in a scored dual meet at home in Drake Stadium. The Bruins, ranked 23rd in the latest USTFCCCA poll, will face off with the No. 11 Ducks on Sunday, April 17th.

The Bruin men have traveled to Oregon for the past three years to face the Ducks and have lost all three meetings in Eugene. Overall, the Bruins hold an 11-7 all-time record against Oregon and the Bruins are 4-0 at home against the Ducks. The dual with the Ducks began again in 2008 after a 14-year hiatus of the head-to-head match-up.

The Bruin men are 1-0 at home this season after easily defeating Tennessee 111-50 on April 2nd. The Ducks have not yet competed in a dual meet this season.

Scott Davis Memorial
The Bruins will recognize the loss of one of track and field's finest announcers, Scott Davis, who passed away in August of 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Davis served as the Bruins' meet announcer for 28 years and was known as the voice of track and field in the United States. Prior to the 100m, Davis' favorite event, a moment of silence will be held. His son, Scott Davis, Jr., will then call the 100m race.

Twelve senior men will be recognized during the meet as they compete in their final home competition as a Bruin. They are Jonathan Clark, Alex Crabill, Scott Crawford, Casey DiCesare, Scott DiCesare, Andreas Drbal, Marc Hausmaninger, Brian Law, Jake Matthews, Cory Primm, Bo Taylor and Greg Woepse.

The men were ranked 24th in the pre-season poll and then moved up to 21st in week one. This week they dropped a few spots to 24th, but will be looking to move up again after this weekend.
