Samaritan's Feet Shoe Drive
As a team, UCLA Women’s Basketball is dedicated to serving the community through outreach and good works. We invite you to partner with us to support one of our favorite projects—putting new shoes and socks on the feet of underprivileged children.
Samaritan’s Feet is a community of more than 70,000 volunteers who have joined together to make a difference in the lives of children in need in every corner of the world. Over four million impoverished children and adults in more than 60 nations have been touched by this organization by having their feet washed, receiving a new pair of shoes, and hearing a message of hope.
The UCLA Women’s Basketball team has held shoe drives the past three years and personally distributed shoes in Philadelphia, Compton and Los Angeles. Last year we were able to provide over 500 new pairs of shoes and socks to the entire Rosemont Elementary student body. This year, we will once again partner with the Dream Center to distribute new shoes and socks to an entire elementary school in downtown Los Angeles, touching the lives of those who need help most.
This December, we ask that you help us by being a part of UCLA Women’s Basketball’s mission to serve others.
Ways to Donate:
Drop off Shoes on Campus
If you'd like to donate physical shoes but did not attend the UCLA vs. Sacramento State, donate them at the UCLA Women's Basketball Suite on campus, located in JD Morgan Center on the 2nd floor. The UCLA Women's Basketball suite will accept donations during regular business hours from now through January 6.
