2000 — Ramasar had left shoulder surgery on Oct. 18, 1999 and was sidelined for the entire season … The three-and-one-half hour procedure, to stabilize the joint and repair a cartilage tear, was performed at the UCLA Medical Center by Bruin team physician Dr. Gerald Finerman.
1999 — In 13 games, Ramasar averaged 2.7 minutes, 0.8 points and 0.2 rebounds and shot 23.1 (3-13) from the field and 66.7 (4-6) from the foul line … His season-highs were—nine minutes and six points vs. Washington State, h and one rebound, three times, last vs. Washington, h … At the Bruins’ annual end-of-the-year banquet, Ramasar was given the Elvin C. ‘Ducky’ Drake Memorial Award for competitive spirit, inspiration and unselfish contribution.
