Spent time rowing for the novice eight and varsity four crews...competed in every event as a freshman...stroked the varsity four `A' crew to first-place finishes against Loyola Marymount and San Diego State...stroked the novice eight crew to first-place finishes on both days of the San Diego Crew Classic (March 31-April 1)...stroked the varsity four against Virginia and Notre Dame at the Windermere Stanford (April 14)...rowed second seat in the novice eight against USC, a first-place finish (April 28), and in the Pac-10 Championships.

Rowed for the Newport Aquatics Center (NAC)...earned most valuable rower honors in 2006...placed first at the lightweight four Southwest Regional Championships in 2005; second at the lightweight eight Southwest Regional Championships in 2006; sixth at the lightweight four Youth Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2005.
