2006-07
Consistent contributor in the second varsity eight boat all season...rowed seven seat and five seat in each of the first two events before assuming third seat for most of the season...led the 2V8 to wins over Loyola Marymount (March 10) and San Diego State (March 17)...finished third in the grand final of the 2V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic after finishing first in the previous day's heat (March 31-April 1)...finished ahead of Notre Dame on day two at the Windermere Stanford (April 15) and in the regatta versus USC (April 28)...raced to a fourth-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships (May 13)...rowed bow seat against USC and in the Pac-10 Championships.
2006
Rowed for UCLA in the spring after transferring from UC San Diego...rowed in the second varsity eight and led the Bruins to victory against Loyola Marymount (March 11), UC Irvine (March 18), Minnesota (April 8), USC (April 29) and versus San Diego State and San Diego in the San Diego Crew Classic (April 1-2)...led UCLA to a second-place finish in the grand final of the Pac-10 Championships (May 14).
Before UCLA
Led UC San Diego to a first-place finish at the Head of the Lagoon in the open four and varsity eight in the fall of 2005...during the 2004-05 season, finished third in the open four at the WIRAs...posted a second-place finish in the Division II varsity eight event at the 2005 PCRCs.
High School
Four-year letterwinner in basketball at North Monterey County High School under head coach Kevin Martin...averaged over 10.0 rebounds per game as a senior...earned All-Monterey Bay League honors...was a one-year letterwinner in track and field (discus, shotput)...served as a track team captain and was named to the All-Monterey Bay League Sportsmanship Team.
