Rowed in four events as a freshman...rowed four seat in the novice eight `B' crew against Loyola Marymount (March 10) and rowed six seat in the N8+ `A' crew against San Diego State (March 17), leading the Bruins to back-to-back first-place finishes...rowed five seat in the N8+ `B' crew against USC (April 28)...rowed three seat in the novice four boat at Pac-10 Championships (May 13).

Two-year varsity rowing letterwinner at Girls Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tenn...rowed for two and a half years for coaches Michelle Pierce and Kali Spink...placed second in the 4+ race at Southeastern Regionals in 2005 and 2006; finished 13th in the 4+ event at US Rowing National Youth Invitational in 2005 and 2006.
