Competed in the novice eight and varsity four crews throughout the season as a freshman...helped lead the novice eight crew to first-place finishes against Loyola Marymount (March 10) and San Diego State (March 17); stroked the novice eight crew against the Aztecs...rowed seven seat in the San Diego Crew Classic, leading the novice eight to first-palce finishes on consecutive afternoons (March 31-April 1)...rowed three seat against Virginia and Notre Dame at the Windermere Stanford (April 14-15)...stroked the varsity four crew against USC (April 28) and to a first-place finish in the petite final of the Pac-10 Championships (May 13).

Three-year rowing letterwinner under head coach Michael Spencer at The Taft School in Watertown, Conn...earned the Founders League Award in 2005 and the Taft Crew Award as the team captain in 2006...rowed in the first boat in 2004, 2005 and 2006; stroked the first boat in 2005 and 2006...also was a four-year volleyball letterwinner for coach Ginger O'Shea...as a volleyball student-athlete, selected to the Boston Globe All-Star Team in 2005 and earned the Taft volleyball award that season; also served as team captain in 2005.
