Competed in the novice eight and varsity four crews throughout the season as a freshman...helped lead the novice eight crew to first-place finishes against Loyola Marymount (March 10) and San Diego State (March 17); stroked the novice eight crew against the Aztecs...rowed seven seat in the San Diego Crew Classic, leading the novice eight to first-palce finishes on consecutive afternoons (March 31-April 1)...rowed three seat against Virginia and Notre Dame at the Windermere Stanford (April 14-15)...stroked the varsity four crew against USC (April 28) and to a first-place finish in the petite final of the Pac-10 Championships (May 13).
