Rowed in the varsity four and novice eight crews as a sophomore...raced in the V4 against USC, UC Irvine and in the Pac-10 Championships (May 14)...raced in the N8+ in the Stanford Invitational, at the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival and in the San Diego Crew Classic.

Four-year varsity cross-country and track letterwinner at Mission Bay High School...was also a varsity soccer letterwinner for one season (midfielder).
