Player Bio: Carly Raab - UCLA Official Athletic Site

Carly Raab, a member of UCLA’s NCAA Championship teams in 2000 and 2001, begins her first season as an undergraduate assistant coach.

Raab was a UCLA team co-captain in 2001 and 2002 and ended her competitive career after two ACL injuries suffered during the past three years. While a member of the Bruin squad, she earned NACGC Scholastic All-America honors three consecutive years and was named the team’s Co-Rookie of the Year in 2000. She competed three times on bars in 2001, earning a season-best of 9.75 at Michigan State and averaging 9.7 during the year.

At the club level, Raab was team captain at Cascade Elite Gymnastics and placed ninth in the all-around and fourth on bars at the 1998 Level 10 Nationals. She also competed on the gold medal-winning team that year and led her team to the 1999 USAIGC National Championships.

Raab is a fourth-year senior majoring in Communication Studies.
