MET-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week

Forward Jessica Winton (Atlanta, GA) of the UCLA women's soccer team was selected the Met-Rx UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 6-12.

Winton, a freshman who twice earned prep All-America honors at Westminster School, became just the second freshman in UCLA history to record a hat trick. Winton scored three goals in the Bruins' 7-0 win over UNC-Charlotte despite playing just 39 minutes in the game.

Her play helped the Bruins win the championship at the Wake Forest Nike Invitational.
