RSVP AND CONFIRMATION
Q: How do I register my group?
A: Online registration is the only way to sign up your group. To do so, please visit theย www.uclabruins.com/communityregistration
Q: I've sent in my request online. Now what do I do?
A: UCLA will review your application and confirm your groupsโ attendance via email. We typically send confirmation emails within two weeks of your submission. Once you receive your confirmation, your group is registered and will receive additional information as the event gets closer.
Q: I received a confirmation, but no tickets. What do I do?
A: Tickets will be emailed orย will need to be picked up on gameday via a gate list at Gate E. Emailed ticketsย will be accessedย through the UCLA Bruins app, which is free in the App Store or Google Play Store.
All fans are strongly encouraged to download their tickets and parking to the Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Pay (Android) apps before reaching their facilities in case of limited data connections through Wi-Fi or cellular service. Fans will open their digital wallets, display their tickets and hold their smartphones near scanners when they reach facility gates to gain entrance.
PDF delivery will also be available to ticket holders who wish to utilize the print-at-home option. Those who do not have a smartphone, need the print-at-home option or are unable to print their tickets should contact the Central Ticket Office by phone at 310-UCLA-WIN (825-2946) or via email atย cto@tickets.ucla.edu.
Q: I sent in my registration request, but I never received a confirmation call, letter or email. What should I do?
A: It's possible that we never received your request. Occasionally, faxes don't go though, emails bounce, and letters get lost. Please emailย the Community Relations office at communityrelations@athletics.ucla.edu
Q: What if I need to make changes to my request?
A: If you need to cancel or make any changes to your reservation, please let us know ASAP. Include your name, school name, phone number, email address, and the event you are attending. Email:ย communityrelations@athletics.ucla.edu
Q: The AFY event I wanted to sign up for says "Full" underneath it. Can I still send in a request for my group?
A: If registration is closed, this means that the event has reached maximum capacity. Please consider looking at our other community relations events to see if there is one that fits your schedule.
ย
Q: Do we have to arrive on a bus?
A: Buses are not mandatory, but they are highly recommended for your trip to the Rose Bowl. All buses park for free in Lot I (eye). Taking a bus will ensure that your group arrives together and can enter the stadium as a group.
Q: Does UCLA provide free buses for this event?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to provide free busses for any groups. We recommend contacting your local council person or the bus companies directly to see if they are able to donate a bus for your trip. We do provide free parking for buses in Lot I (eye).
Q: Does our bus need to be identified?
A: Due to the high number of groups arriving by bus, we highly recommend displaying a sign with your teamโs name in the window. This makes locating your bus easier after the event.
Q: What is the address for the Rose Bowl?
A: 1001 Rose Bowl Drive, Pasadena, CA 91184
ย
ATTENDANCE
Q: How many chaperones do we need to bring?
A: Plan to have chaperones accompany all students in a 1:10 minimum ratio. Upon arrival, designate a meeting spot in case members become separated from your group.
Q: Can we bring parents and siblings?
A: Yes, parents may be considered chaperones and siblings are welcome to join. Your ticket request should incorporate all students and chaperones in the final number.
Q: Do you need the name of everyone in the group?
A: No. We only need the first and last name of all high school-aged children who will be attending. High school students canโt receive physical tickets in advance and must enter via gate list at the stadium.
ย
DAY OF THE GAME
Q: How do we enter the stadium?
A: All groups with elementary or middle school-aged kids should have received digital tickets by email in advance. Any group with high school-aged students will need to enter via a gate list, under their group name at Gate E. You MUST check in as a group in order to be admitted into the Rose Bowl. Individual players and unchaperoned children will not be admitted into the game.
Q: Do we need to arrive as a group?
A: Yes. We understand that carpooling may result in different arrival times, however, we must insist that you make plans to meet somewhere in the parking lot so that your team enters as one group. This will ease your entry into the game, allow your group to attain seats together and reduce a back-up at the main gate.
Q: Where do we sit?
A: You are free to sit anywhere within the designated general admission area (north and south end zones). If you are arriving in individual cars and are planning on sitting together as a school, please make arrangements to meet at a predetermined time and location so your group can enter the stadium together.
Q: What time will the event start?
A: Often, kick off times are not announced until 10 days prior to the game. We will email all registered groups as soon as a game time is announced. For the most up to date information on game time, visit www.uclabruins.com.
Q: Where should we park?
A: Buses park for free in Lot I (eye). Individual car parking information can be foundย here.
Q: If someone in our group gets separated from the group, where should they go?
A: Once the game begins, all separated individuals should report to the Pasadena Police Office located inside the Rose Bowl. Chaperones can also meet missing individuals at this location as well.
Q: Why does UCLA need an emergency contact name and cell phone number?
A: By providing us with an emergency contact and cell phone number, youย help us return lost children as quickly as possible. Please note, this person should attend the game with the group and have their cell phone handy should we need to contact your group.
Q: Does our group need to wear anything specific? Do they need name tags?
A: Please make sure all children know their chaperoneโs name and organization name. We highly encourage all students to wear an identifying T-shirt/uniform or sticker/nametag with the organizationโs name on it.
Q: Can we bring food and bags into the stadium?
A: To provide a safer environment for the public and improved fan entry into the Rose Bowl, the Rose Bowl has implemented a policy that limits the size and type of bags allowed in the stadium.ย The following will help you with the new bag policy, which only permits the following bags into the Rose Bowl:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12โ x 6โ x 12โ
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
