Cody Regis Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of Week

Senior Cody Regis (Glendora, Calif./Glendora HS) of the UCLA baseball team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week (May 6-12).
Regis had a big weekend for the Bruins, leading the team to a sweep of Arizona. On Friday, he went 2-3 with a career-high six RBI as the Bruins defeated the Wildcats, 10-2. Both of Regis's hits were bases-clearing doubles. He followed that up with a 4-4 performance on Saturday, hitting two more doubles while scoring three runs and knocking in two others. Overall, Regis leads the Bruins with a .338 average in conference play.
This is Regis' first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
