Brymer Named OC Register's Athlete of the Year

LOS ANGELES - UCLA men's tennis signee Gage Brymer was recently named the Orange County Register's 2012-13 Athlete of the Year. He is the first tennis player to earn the award since 1987.
Brymer, who also led Irvine's University High to its third CIF-SS team championship in 2013, earned the award after claiming his third straight CIF singles title in early June. Prior to that championship, Brymer took home titles at the prestigious Easter Bowl and Ojai Valley tournaments.
