Women's Tennis Ascends to Nation's No. 1 Ranking

UCLA's win over USC improved the team's record to 21-2 on the season. At 9-1 in conference play, the Bruins finished second in the Pac-12 standings this year, with their only loss coming at Cal. Georgia is ranked No. 2 this week, followed by No. 3 Alabama, No. 4 Cal and No. 5. Texas A&M.
Individual rankings were also released on Tuesday and Robin Anderson is the team's highest-ranked singles player at No. 2. She is joined in the top 20 by No. 11 Jennifer Brady and No. 13 Chanelle Van Nguyen. Kyle McPhillips (No. 34) and Catherine Harrison (No. 77) are also ranked in singles. In doubles, Anderson and Brady are the nation's No. 1 doubles tandem. Harrison and McPhillips check in at No. 7.
