TRANSPORTATION
Q: What is the address for Pauley Pavilion?
A: 301 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095
Q: Can I arrive separately in a car and where do I park?
A: Yes, individual cars or vans can park anywhere in general parking and make their way to the game. Pauley Pavilion is easily accessible from Lots 4, 7, 8 and 9. Parking is $14 per car. Parking can be purchased in advance through the Bruin ePermit portal using the Events link at the top of the home screen (click here for instructions). Guests may also download the ParkMobile app where they can pay for parking on the day of the event and avoid lines at Parking Pay Stations. For more information on campus parking and maps, visit the website for UCLA Parking Services.
Q: Does UCLA provide free buses for this event?
A: Unfortunately, we are not able to provide free busses for any groups. We recommend contacting your local council person or the bus companies directly to see if they are able to donate a bus for your trip. Buses can load and unload along Charles E. Young Drive North by entering the UCLA Campus from Sunset Blvd. and turning right onto Westwood Plaza. Make a quick right onto Charles E. Young Drive North, and the bus parking lane is on the right-hand side for unloading.
Q: Does our bus need to be identified?
A: Due to the high number of schools arriving by bus, we require displaying a sign with your school’s name in the window to make locating your bus easier at the end of the event.
ATTENDANCE
Q: How many chaperones do we need to bring?
A: Plan to have chaperones accompany all students in a 1:10 ratio. Upon arrival, designate a meeting spot in case students become separated from your group.
Q: Can we bring parents and siblings?
A: Yes, parents may be considered chaperones and siblings are welcome to join. Your ticket request should incorporate all students and chaperones in the final number.
Q: Do you need the name of everyone in the group?
A: No, we do not need names of everyone in the group.
DAY OF THE GAME
Q: What time do doors open on gameday?
A: Doors open 60 minutes prior to game time.
Q: How do we enter the stadium?
A: All groups with elementary or middle school-aged kids should have received digital tickets and can enter through the Main Entrance. Any group with high school-aged students will need to pick up their tickets at the Box Office next to the Main Entrance.
Q: Do we need to arrive as a group?
A: Yes. We understand that carpooling may result in different arrival times, however, we must insist that you make plans to meet somewhere in the parking lot so that your school/group/team enters as one group. This will ease your entry into the game, allow your group to attain seats together, and reduce a back-up at the main gate.
Q: Where do we sit?
A: You are free to sit anywhere within the designated general admission area at the the stadium. Check above for all Arena Maps for specific sports.
Q: Where should we park?
A: Check above at the transportation section for bus and car parking.
Q: Why does UCLA need an emergency contact name and cell phone number?
A: By providing us with an emergency contact and cell phone number, you will help us return lost children as quickly as possible. Please note, this person should attend the game with the group, check-in at the entrance at the gate upon arrival, and have their cell phone handy should we need to contact your group.
Q: Do my students need to wear anything specific? Do they need name tags?
A: Please make sure all children know their chaperone’s name and organization name. We highly encourage all students to wear an identifying T-shirt/uniform or sticker/nametag with the organization’s name on it. We highly encourage all groups to wear Bruin Blue and cheer loud for UCLA!
Q: Can we bring bags into the stadium?
A: To provide a safer environment for the public and improved fan entry into Pauley, we have implemented a policy that limits the size and type of bags allowed in the stadium. Please check our Gameday Information Webpage at the top of the page for what items are prohibited into the stadium.
