Bruin Spotlight: Dennis Mkrtchian, Men's Tennis
On the court, Mkrtchian has turned in some impressive results over the last several months. He captured the singles title at the Southern California Intercollegiates in November and just recently advanced to the singles final at the Sherwood Collegiate Cup, downing the nation's fifth-ranked player in Baylor's Julian Lenz in the semifinals.
Off the court, Mkrtchian is a double-major focusing on International Development Studies and Political Science. He owns the highest GPA on the squad and hopes that his performance in the classroom serves as motivation for the team's younger players.
