Five Bruins Named NACGC/W Regular Season All-Americans

Bynum received second-team All-America acclaim on floor exercise and finished the regular season ranked No. 13 in the nation on that event. A first-team All-Pac-12 honoree, she set a new career-high on floor on Mar. 7 with a 9.975 and is averaging 9.885 this season.
Lee, who is in her first year of competition after sitting out the last two seasons due to injury, earned first-team honors on bars and beam. Lee finished the regular season ranked No. 5 on bars and No. 7 on beam. She has career-highs of 9.95 on bars and 9.975 on beam and is also a first-team All-Pac-12 honoree on the two events.
Williams, who is in her first year at UCLA after transferring from the University of Arizona, received second-team All-America honors on vault, the first of her career. Ranked 14th in the nation, she averaged 9.887 on vault this season, with a high of 9.95 scored four times.
Peszek becomes a 12-time All-American with her first-team honor on beam and second-team honor on vault. She finished the regular season as the No. 1-ranked gymnast in the nation on beam and 10th-ranked gymnast on vault. She has scored career-bests of 9.95 on each event this season.
Francis is now a four-time All-American and three-time regular season All-American on beam. Ranked third in the nation on the event, Francis has scored 9.95 three times this season and last year scored a perfect 10.
This is the third year the NACGC/W has awarded All-Americans for the regular season. First-team All-Americans are the Top 8 ranked gymnasts on each event and the all-around. Second-team All-Americans are the gymnasts ranked No. 9-16.
