Bruins Earn Berth to NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship

In addition, the Bruins’ Rachel Fattal and Sami Hill were named First-Team All-MPSF for the second year in a row.
The Bruins (24-2) were automatic qualifiers after winning the 2015 MPSF Tournament Championship over the weekend at Arizona State. The title was UCLA’s 10th overall, a conference leader, and its third under the leadership of head coach Brandon Brooks.
In its first round game on May 8, UCLA will play the winner of the UC San Diego vs. Whittier College play-in game on May 2.
Fattal led the Bruins in scoring with 52 goals this season. In a 9-7 MPSF semifinal victory over USC, she scored a season-high of six goals.
Hill became UCLA’s all-time saves leader early in the season, and currently has 937 career saves. She made a season-high of 14 saves in Saturday’s victory over USC. The 2014 MPSF Player of the Year, Hill has been among the conference leaders in goals allowed and saves average.
