Anderson Selected as No. 1 Seed in NCAA Tournament

As the highest ranked Pac-12 player, Anderson, who is also the No. 1 player in the country, was an automatic qualifier for the draw. She is only the second player in school history to earn the top spot at the NCAAs, along with Keri Phebus in 1995. Anderson will be joined in the tournament by teammates Jennifer Brady, Chanelle Van Nguyen, Kyle McPhillips and Catherine Harrison.
UCLA also had two teams selected to compete in the 32-team doubles draw, led by third-seeded Harrison and McPhillips. The duo of Anderson and Brady was also chosen as an at-large selection.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 20-25 at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, following the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 15-19. Baylor University will serve as host.
