Three Men's Tennis Players Selected for NCAA Individual Championships

LOS ANGELES - UCLA's Mackenzie McDonald, Dennis Mkrtchian and Martin Redlicki have all been chosen to compete in the NCAA Individual Championships, which will run from May 20-25 at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.
As the higheset ranked player from the Pac-12, McDonald received an automatic bid to compete in the 64-player singles draw and is seeded No. 3. He will be joined in the draw by automatic qualifier Dennis Mkrtchian.
McDonald and Redlicki were also chosen to represent UCLA in the 32-team doubles draw.
UCLA opens up the NCAA Tournament in regional action May 8-9 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. The Bruins will take on Florida Gulf Coast in the first round on Friday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m.
Teams that advance through NCAA Regional play will move on to Waco, Texas for the round of 16 on up, which runs from May 14-19. Baylor University will serve as host.
